Making Self-Care Simple Bath

Our skin is the largest organ in our body. Between sweat, lotions, and oils our skin and pores become covered in damaging substances. It is important we are cleansing our skin and detoxifying our pores properly. Hydrotherapy becomes an essential healing practice. Hydrotherapy is the ancient healing art of bathing. It has been around for centuries and is still relevant today due to its truly effective results. We encourage you to try it for yourself. Below we have included some suggestions on how to draw yourself a hydrotherapy bath to detoxify and hydrate your skin.

 

Today it is essential that we take care of ourselves and make sure that our self care routines are simple, nourishing and support our health. So relax, light a candle and make a habit of these luxurious remedies. Then relish the way your body, mind, and spirit feel refreshed and rejuvenated. 

 

Each bath should be as hot as you can tolerate. Stay in the bath for at least 20 minutes - ideally until it starts to cool. Take your bath at night so your body can heal while you sleep and then take a shower in the morning.

 

Natural Baths  ​

  1. Baking Soda: (1 Cup) This helps remove radiation and toxicity and will balance an acidic PH. 

  2. Sea salt: (1 Cup) This will leach toxicity from the body.

  3. Sea salt and baking soda: (1 Cup of each) This will leach radiation and toxins from the body.

  4. Apple Cider Vinegar: (1 Cup) This soothes sore muscles and helps balance your PH.

  5. Hydrogen Peroxide: (1/3 Cup) This oxidizes and breaks down pesticides and petroleum based                                                                     products.
