Lola Macaulay

Lola Macaulay was born and raised in Orange County before moving to Santa Barbara to attend school at UCSB. There she successfully completed a double major in Film and Media Studies and Art - graduating in June 2022. Lola has always been drawn to filmmaking for the ability to share impactful stories that otherwise might have gone untold. She joined the team behind Are You Hearing Me? because she believes that the voices of the women involved deserve to be amplified.⁣ In addition to her work in animation Lola is now the Undergraduate Advisor in Film and Media Studies at UCSB. She stepped into the enormous shoes of Joseph Palladino and now facilitates and supports the students in UCSB's FAMST Program in their academic and artistic journeys.
